We are currently in discussions with Mike Pedler, Professor John Burgoyne and colleague John Mackmersh aimed at the devlopment of an Action Research forum for helping professionals to appreciate the value and approriateness of Networks (as distinct from linear hierarchical ways of orgasnising) as tools for organising. Networks are an attractive option in where local initiative (distributed knowledge and power) and responsiveness are required - but are little understood. Watch out for a further anouncement soon if you or your organisation are interested in taking part.
